Loyd Elmer Musgrove

Loyd Elmer Musgrove was born on April 4, 1927 in Oklahoma City to Joseph Calvin and Emma Stella (Cookham) Musgrove.  He passed away on March 9, 2018 in Wellston at the age of 90.

Loyd attended Wellston Schools.  He retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority after over 20 years of service.

Loyd is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Emma; sister, Leona Bell Musgrove; brother, C.L. Musgrove; nephew, Louie Don Schmidt.  Survivors include his sister, Audra Schmidt of Wellston; nieces and nephews, Leona Thorpe of Wellston, Stella Fisher of Yukon,  Robert and Laveda Butler of Wellston, Calvin and Lori Musgrove of Dibble, Charlie and Renee Dougherty of Wellston; along with many other family and friends.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel and interment followed in the Wellston Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
