Leroy Clinton Johnson was born June 13, 1938 in Sparks, Oklahoma to James Clinton and Alice Margaret (Stewart) Johnson.  He passed away October 6, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79.

Leroy grew up in Sparks where he graduated high school in 1957.  He married Patsy (Booth) August 18, 1957.  To this union where 3 daughters.  He worked various jobs including farming, road construction, ending his working career as a tractor mechanic.  Leroy married Susan Ybright January 27, 1987.  He loved his family and his grandchildren and enjoyed the outdoors even bailing hay during his courageous fight with cancer.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Evelyn Downs, Margaret Ann Quinn; and an infant great-granddaughter, Madalyn Paige Burger.  Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Susan Ybright-Johnson of the home; daughters, Debbie and her husband Gary Burger of Prague, Joyce and her husband Greg Savage of Loco, Dorothy and her husband Matthew Grimes of Sparks; (6) grandchildren, Leroy Burger and wife Barbara, Mary and husband Brad Baney, Garrett Savage, Stephen Grimes and wife Erica, Rebecca and husband Nick Christian, Bobby Grimes and wife Kelsey; (9) Great-grandchildren, Wesley, Makenzie, Connor, Matthew, Amos, Titus, Ayden, Hudson, Harper; siblings, Betty Williams, Mary Alice Williams, Tommy Johnson, Eddie Johnson; along with a host of other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
