Glen Roy Miller was born on January 12, 1920 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Ray Vernon and Mary Ethel (Hayes) Miller. He passed away on August 3, 2017 in Shawnee at the age of 97. Glen lived in Lincoln County for his entire life.

He and the joy of his life, his wife, Thelma loved spending time together on mission trips to other countries. He was a righteous man of God. Glen lived during the dustbowl, as a result, he firmly believed in soil conservation. In 2013 Glen was honored to be a part of the World War II honor flight to Washington, D.C.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 76 years, Thelma Josephine Miller; siblings, George Miller, Donald Miller, Ruth Gage, Dora Stewart, Dorthy Mitchell; survivors include, daughter, Glenda Sue and her husband, Ira Taylor of Wellston; granddaughters, Emberly and her husband, Dale Markwell of Meeker; Latisha Aguirre of Wellston, Kelsey and husband, Steiger Hart of Shawnee; great-grandsons, Jeffery Markwell, Anthony Pinelo; great-great grandson, Beckett Hart along with other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment following at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
