Ethelyne Roberta Strohmeyer was born August 12, 1921 in Edwardsville, Kansas to Charles William and Gertrude Agusta (Sewell) McComas. She passed away May 4, 2019 in Shawnee at age of 97.

Ethelyne worked in the banking industry for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Norman Francis Strohmeyer. Survivors include her niece and nephew, Barbara and Victor Ford; great-nephew Dalton Ford; her caretaker for 2 ½ years Janice Wiens; along with other family and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
