Erbert Winston 'Pete' Wrenn, Jr. Obituary

Erbert “Pete” Wrenn was born on May 8, 1962, to Erbert Sr. and Ostella Annajewel Sneed in Chandler, Oklahoma. He was the sixth of seven children to Ostella. He departed this life May 28, 2019 in Chandler at the age of 57.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Erbert Sr. and Ostella; grandparents, Jesse and Virginia Wrenn; Ostell and Lillie Sneed; his Aunt, Nardell Maxwell, and brother-in-law, Arthur Williams.

Pete grew up and attended school in Davenport, Oklahoma. As a child he attended New Zion Baptist Church of Davenport. He enjoyed riding horses and dirt bikes and taught his nieces how to ride as well.  He enjoyed fishing and will be remembered for being a friendly face of Chandler who never met a stranger.  If he told someone he was going to do something, you could count on Pete to get it done. He worked in lawn care and was great at fixing lawn mowers. Peter could often be seen around Chandler riding on his mower.  Pete married Robin Wilson at the Bethel AME Church in Chandler and to that union his only son was born, Paden Wrenn, “Lil Pete”.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Paden; three sisters, Barbara Battle and Buck of Chandler, Pamela Sneed Williams of OKC, Teresa Wrenn and AV of Chandler; three brothers, Ostell (Roy) Sneed and Nora of Spencer, Trent Wrenn of Lawton, John Neal, Jr. of Chandler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins; special aunts, Dorothy Smith, Marilyn Moore, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Lehman Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
