Earl Loyd Irby

Earl Loyd Irby was born March 17, 1952. He was the next to the youngest of 15 children born to H.L. and Eleonore (Johnson) Irby.  Earl passed away April 29, 2018 at his home in Wellston with his family by his side at the age of 66.

Earl was a great man who would give to anyone in need.  He enjoyed camping and fishing and will be remembered for the always eventful trips to the zoo.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, sitting in the sun with an ice cold beer, and going to listen to Karaoke but never sang himself.  Earl loved his family and loved spending time with all of them as they were his life.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Eleonore Irby; (10) siblings; and his daughter, Rhonda Lynn.  Survivors include his wife of nearly 43 years, Sharron (Butler) Irby of the home; children, Toby “Shane” Irby and wife Stacey of Royce City, TX, Micky “Shawn” Irby and wife Sheila of Venus, TX, Lee Irby and wife Valerie of Quinlan, TX, Sheila Harp of Wellston, Re"Gina” Kaye Stamper and husband Rob of Portland, OR, Shanna Renee Rackley and husband Curtis of Wellston; (19) grandchildren; (9) great-grandchildren; (4) siblings, Betty Samuel, Hetti Irby, Frank Irby, Bobby Irby; along with many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend J.D. Vails officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
