Donald Wayne Hollen, 75, was born November 26, 1941 in Pleasant View, Colorado to Ralph and Thelma (Smith) Hollen.  He passed away May 27, 2017 with his family at his side.

Don was a hardworking business owner of Dawn, Inc. Machine Manufacturing where he worked for years beside his son, Billy.  He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Davenport.  He enjoyed the outdoors, working on the farm and riding his tractor.  Don loved his family wholeheartedly and raised two granddaughters and a great grandson.  He will be remembered for always greeting people with a hug and a joke.  Don was challenged with stage 4 cancer but always persevered and never quit his routines of life and living.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Thelma; wife of 53 years, Vicki (Hoss) Hollen; daughter, Charlotte Hollen; brothers, Ronald Hollen, Warren Hollen.  Survivors include his son, Billy Hollen and wife Wendy of the home; grandchildren, Courtney Jones, Treasure Lynam, Marisa Hollen, Austin Hollen; great-grandchildren, Dawson Mitchell, Trey Webber, Asher Lynam, Beckam Amanis; siblings, Florine Warren, Larry Hollen and wife Shai, Vernon Hollen and wife Helen; along with many other family and friends.

Donations in Don’s honor can be made to the First Baptist Church of Davenport Youth Group.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Davenport.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
