Dennis Dale Beaty

Dennis Dale Beaty of Chandler, OK was born September 4, 1936 in Midlothian and joined our Lord in Heaven October 5, 2018 welcomed by his parents Clyde and Reba Beaty, siblings Donald Ray and Clydena.

Dennis leaves behind three children; Starla, Andrea and Jason and their families; beloved grandchildren, nephew Doug, extended family and many friends whom loved him dearly.  Dennis served our country in the Army National Guard, was a Chandler volunteer fireman, a 32 degree Mason and a 30 year U.S. Postal Service retiree.  He carried mail for many years and made many friends along the way.   Dennis was a pillar of the Chandler community.  He helped many people through AA and lead by example earning his 30 year AA chip.  Dennis never met a stranger.  He had breakfast with friends at McDonald’s, lunch at the Senior Center and dinner at Jack’s, sharing good stories and giving advice.  He loved Chandler High School and classmates from those years, attending every Alumni banquet and reminiscing with old friends.  He will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will be held from 1 am to 6 pm at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church on Friday, October 12, 2018.  A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church with a private interment to follow.  Memorial contributions can be made in Dennis’ honor to the Chandler Fire Department, A.A., or the Beaty House in Chandler.  Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
