Charlie David Bouska, Sr. was born January 9, 1943 in Torrance, California to Martin and Ruby Lee (Davis) Bouska. He passed away September 10, 2019 in Edmond at the age of 76.
David was the youngest of 6 children who grew up in Choctaw where he graduated from high school in 1961. He proudly served his country in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and was a third generation Brick Mason. David married Rose Marie (Benton) May 25, 1964 and raised 3 children together. He was passionate about street racing and drag racing.
David was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marilyn, Carolyn, Charlene, Della, and Martin Edward. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rose Marie Bouska of the home; sons, Martin Bouska of Wellston, David Bouska, Jr. and wife Wilma of Wellston, Joe Bouska and wife Carin of Amarillo, Texas; (4) grandchildren, Levi Bouska and wife Lynlee, Drake Bouska, Tiffany Schmitt and husband Aaron, Shannon Doughtery and husband Matthew; (8) great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, W.O. (Sarge) Ginn of Choctaw; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday September 13, 2019 at the Lehman Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler with Father Tim Ruckel officiating and interment following in the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery.
