Darlene (Hall) Gilcrease

Lula Darlene (Hall) Gilcrease was born February 2, 1955 in Spark, Oklahoma to Earl Carter and Naomi Ruth (Logue) Hall.  She passed away September 3, 2019 in Shawnee at the age of 64.

Darlene grew up in Sparks where she attended grade school.  She later attended Chandler where she graduated high school with the class of 1973.  She was a strong willed selfless lady who always looked out for others.  She never complained and always had a positive outlook on life.  Darlene loved her family and each of her pets.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Naomi; and her husband of 36 years, John Gilcrease.  Survivors include her children, Michael Anson of Shawnee, Shawn Anson of Shawnee, Paula Stephens and husband James of Red Oak, Texas; six grandchildren, Dakota Brown, Brooke Anson, Braye Stephens, Justin Cochrane, Jett Anson, Olivia Anson; two great-grandchildren, Hudson Cochrane and Charlie Cochrane; siblings, Buford Butch Hall and wife Linda of Meeker, Ruth Ann Leake and husband Michael of Chandler along with many other family members and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks with Reverend Christine Pomaville officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
