Christopher Howard Erwin

Christopher Howard Erwin was born July 5, 1962 in Oklahoma City to Joseph Erwin and Charlotte (Skaggs).  He passed away December 25, 2018 in his home in Wellston at the age of 56.

Chris grew up in Oklahoma City eventually moving to the country where he attended Bethel Acres School.  Chris enjoyed going to the lake spending as much time on the water as possible.  He was a very faithful, outspoken, hardworking man who genuinely cared about those around him.  His life’s passion was his wife, Dawn.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Charlotte; and sister, Debra Erwin.  Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Dawn (Beller) Erwin of the home; children, Greg Erwin of Wellston, Trisha King of Edmond, Kevin Erwin of Wellston, Joshua Erwin of Wellston; (5) grandchildren, Alexis, Brice, Gemma, Greenlea, Angelina; sisters, Teresa Stromberg and husband Arnie of Oklahoma City, Stephanie McClendon and husband Danny of Norman; other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday December 28, 2018 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
