Carol Annette (Rackley) Snyder

Carol Annette (Rackley) Snyder was born January 12, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Robert and Maude Eugene (Nelson) Rackley.  She passed away on August 7, 2018 at the age of 73, after a battle with cancer.

Carol was the youngest of 17 children.  She married Robert Leroy Snyder May 18, 1990 and together raised three children in Chandler and Davenport.

Carol proudly completed her GED and earned an associate’s degree at the age of 50.  She continued her long career in cosmetology from local hair dresser, to owning and operating her own shop, and later buying her own cosmetology school in Shawnee, Oklahoma where she later retired as a Master Instructor.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, William and Maude Rackley; the love of her life, her husband Robert Leroy Snyder.  Survivors include her children, Treasa (Estrada) and her husband, Joseph Cornett of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Estrada of Arizona, Laura (Estrada) and her husband William Brown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; grandson, Derrick and his wife Niky Birdsong of Stroud, Oklahoma; (8) great-grandchildren, Kristen and her husband, John Hart of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Mateo Estrada, Gunner Estrada, both of Arizona, Hayden Funk, Kaycee Funk and his wife, Deshae of Chandler, Oklahoma, Madison Funk, William Funk both of Sapulpa, Oklahoma along with other family and host of friends. Carol was an amazing mother, Nana and friend to many.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Lehman Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Davenport with interment to follow at the Tom Ferrell Cemetery in Harrah.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
