Bobby Joe Potter was born October 15, 1954 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Noah and Esther (Hardey) Potter.  He passed away November 18, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 63.

Bob was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many.  He enjoyed music of all types with a special passion for The Beatles.  He enjoyed cars and was always looking for a deal on whatever he was doing.  He called it, “the art of the deal”.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Potter; mother-in-law, Kathleen Williams; and sister-in-law, Frances Potter.  Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Shirley (Williams) Potter of the home; children, Scott Horton and wife Shanell of Bixby, Christina Horton of Tennessee; (7) grandchildren, Cory, Joseph, Brock, Dillon, Presley, Ella, Molly; (4) great-grandchildren, Serenity, Abree, Kayton, Victoria; siblings, Leo Potter of Agra, Buddy Potter of Stockton, California, Darrell Potter of Holdenville, Debbie Potter of Stockton, California; father-in-law, Chester Williams of Lindsay; the McCutchen family of Pryor and many other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
