Billy Joe Baldwin

Billy Joe Baldwin was born June 30, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico to Marvin William Baldwin and Dorothy Irene (Cromer) Easley.  He passed away September 9, 2019 in Clovis at the age of 68.

Billy grew up in Clovis, New Mexico where he graduated from high school in 1969.  He was a Golden Glove boxer and excellent domino player.  He often referred to himself as a “dominologist”.  Billy enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved his family and would bend over backwards to help someone in need.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Baldwin; wife, Alice Faye Baldwin; and brother, Daniel Baldwin.  Survivors include his children, Daryl Baldwin and wife Cassandra of Mustang, Sandy Juarez and husband Tony of Cushing, James Caudill of Harrah, Hayley Baldwin of Edmond, Joshua Baldwin of Davenport; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Cathy Reese of New Mexico, David Baldwin of Texas, Robert Baldwin of Wellston, Judy Powell of Alabama, Beverley Johnson of Hugo, Joseph Baldwin of Davenport, June Baldwin of New Mexico; along with other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Davenport with Reverend Mike Mitchell and Reverend Dave Roberts officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
