Rex Alexander Pellerin

Rex Alexander Pellerin was born May 17, 1964 in Oklahoma City to Jules and Leona (Thorpe) Pellerin.  He passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 in Oklahoma City at the age of 59. 

He grew up in Wellston and Shawnee, while attending Wellston Public Schools, Dale Public Schools and Shawnee High School.  He also attended the Jim Paul Dance Company in Shawnee, while also dancing under the instruction of Judy Lampl and Janet Combs. Rex performed in numerous plays at Shawnee Little Theatre and Lyric Theater. He proudly served in the Army.

Rex is preceded in death by his father, Jules Pellerin. Survivors include his daughter, Taryn Wilson; three grandchildren; his mother, Leona Thorpe; brothers, Dale Pellerin and Roy Pellerin; along with other family and friends.

A celebration of Rex’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
