Phillip Avery Owens was born May 15, 1975 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Ronald Crews and Brenda (Tackett) Owens. He passed away April 3, 2024 in Carney at the age of 48.
Phillip grew up in Arkansas enjoying hunting, fishing, the outdoors and fast cars. He was a Volunteer Carney Firefighter. He had a big heart loved to help people and never met a stranger.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Crews; stepfather, David Owens; sister, Karen Crews; and his grandparents, Rolland and Marzell Tackett. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Bethany Owens of the home; children, Nickolas Due of Ohio, Browdy Owens and wife Jaden, Tucker Owens, Addison Owens all of Carney; granddaughter, Eden Owens; mother, Brenda Owens of Arkansas; brother, James Owens of Muldrow; stepmother, Gloria Crews; along with other family and many friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Carney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
