Sharon Irene Syme was born on August 29, 1951 in Talihana, Oklahoma to Allen Lonzo and Lilly Rosetta (Billings) Dry. She passed away on December 25, 2017 in Gladewater, Texas at the age of 61.

Sharon grew up in Southeast Oklahoma. She enjoyed dancing, the light of the big city of Atlanta. She loved her family, daughters and grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Melinda Hicks; brother, William Dry. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, William Syme of the home; daughters. Vera Nall and Danyell Hall, both of Oklahoma City; (3) grandchildren, Madison Rumpl, Tristan Rumpl, Christian Hall; siblings, Leroy Dry and his wife, Donna, Terrell Dry, Randal Craig, Shirley Bishop, along with other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
