Robert Henry Blackwood was born May 11, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Oldy Benjamin & Massey Leona (Duke) Blackwood. He passed away November 27, 2016 in Chandler at the age of 70 years.

Henry worked as a cemetery caretaker for Resthaven and Memorial Park Cemeteries for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and playing his guitar. He was a loving grandfather and great grand-father.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents; along with (8) brothers and (3) sisters; survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mary Geraldine Blackwood of the home; sons, Randy Peevyhouse of Luther, Jacky Peevyhouse of Luther, Jackie John Blackwood and his wife Cynthia of Choctaw; sister, Florence Strange of Wellston; (6) grandchildren, Anthony Peevyhouse, Ariel Figereo, Jessica Wilson, Mary Blackwood, Bonnie Blackwood, and Donald Blackwood; (6) great-grandchildren, Ean Peevyhouse, Casen Figureo, Aiden Wilson, Bella Peevyhouse, Vincent Peevyhouse, and Benjamin Peeveyhouse; many nieces including his special niece Shirley Cogburn of Nashville, Arkansas; along with other nephews, family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment following in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
