Richard Lee Tackett was born March 17, 1959 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Raymond Leonard and LaWanda Mae (Sprague) Tackett. He passed away on July 7, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 58.

Richard worked at Tinker Air Force Base for many years. After that he became the owner and operator of a car dealership for many years. He also loved to restore cars.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; survivors include his daughters, Lenzy Gilles; Lauren and her husband, Brad McMichael; son, Ryan Tackett and his wife, Kristi; (4) grandchildren, Isaiah Tackett, Trent Tackett, Ayden Tackett, Jaxson Gilles; brother, Ron Tackett and his wife Sharon; and Aunt Jerry Nelson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
