Keith David Hendrix was born June 13, 1970 in Oklahoma City to Richard Dale and Linda Sue (Benefield) Hendrix.  He passed away October 16, 2017 in Wellston at the age of 47.

Keith grew up in Wellston where he graduated high school with the class of 1988.  He enjoyed fishing, OU Football, and riding his wave runner at the lake.  Keith was one of the best welders around.  He loved his family, his children, his dogs, Rere, Meme, Toby, and especially his truck, Christine.

Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Terry and Lola Hendrix, George and Estelle Benefield; aunt, Judy Morrison; uncle, Wilburn Benefield;  cousin, Kim Thompson; and father-in-law, Terry Grandstaff.  Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Michelle (Grandstaff) Hendrix of the home; children, Kaylin Hendrix and Trevon Tislow of Wellston, Austin Hendrix and Morgan Gross of Meeker, Trey Hendrix of the home; parents, Richard and Linda Hendrix of Wellston; brother, Kevin Hendrix of Midwest City; other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Missionary Baptist Church in Wellston followed by interment in the Rossville Cemetery South of Wellston.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
