Joshua Eldon Anderson was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on September 13, 1976 and passed away on November 1, 2013, at O. U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 37. 

Josh attended elementary school in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, junior high school in Hominy, Oklahoma, and high school in Chandler, Oklahoma, graduating  with the class of 1995.  He worked for Schwan’s for several years, Woodmen Insurance, National American Insurance Company, as an independent insurance adjustor, and as a welder’s assistant, which he enjoyed immensely.  Josh was an athlete, playing baseball, football, basketball, and competing in track in his elementary, junior high, and high school years.  He enjoyed fishing, raising brood, show and exposition chickens, spending time with his friends, and, most of all, being with his family.   

Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bessie Dollarhide and H. R. Taylor, his paternal grandmother, LeeAnna Anderson, Uncle Mike Dawes and Uncle Michael Vaughan, and infant daughter Jade Danyell Anderson.  He is survived by his wife, April Anderson, children Levi, Megan, Jensen, and Gillian Anderson, sister Bekkah Cooper, parents Eldon and Pamela Anderson of Chandler, Oklahoma,  grandparents Leo and Sharlene Anderson of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and a church family who will miss him greatly.

A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Wednesday November 6, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler.  A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday November 7, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler with interment following in the Morning Star Cemetery in Chandler.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
