Johnny Cleo Beasler was born May 19, 1968 in Chandler and passed away September 27, 2016 at the age of 48.  Johnny grew up in Wellston where he graduated from high school in 1986.  He started his career as a local painting contractor and later evolved into other construction projects helping many in the Wellston Community.  Johnny played guitar and sang with the Deep Fork Band.  He enjoyed hunting and noodlin’.  He adored his son, Luke, spending hours wrestling together in the floor.  Johnny was a simple country boy and that’s how he liked it.  He will be missed but never forgotten.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Hershel Beasler.  Survivors include his son, Luke Leon Beasler and girlfriend, Alicia Davis of the home; mother, Loretta Stricklin of Wellston, sister, Carol and her husband Rusty Gilpin of Tecumseh; nieces, Tiffany Mckiddy, Michaela Zaio of Tecumseh; nephew, Gabriel Rose; great nephews, Macen, Madden, and Myles Mckiddy of Tecumseh, and Tucker Rose of Wellston; along with many other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Wellston High School Gymnasium with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
