James Edward (Jim) Stallings was born May 16, 1936 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to Glenn M. and Thelma E. (Rice) Stallings. He passed away at his home in Chandler on January 3, 2017 at the age of 80 years.

Jim was self-employed as a flea market attendant and operator. He lived in Chandler and loved sharing the land with his chickens.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and a grandson, Joshua Mickler; survivors include his children, Kathy and her husband, John Moffit of Ninnakah, Sandra and her husband Stacy Haliburton of China Spring, Texas, Roy Stallings and his wife, Tricha of Carrollton, Texas and Edd Stallings and his wife Norma of Corsicana, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Elada and her husband, Bob Mann; half-brothers and their spouses, Joe and Sue Lutonsky, and Bill and Pam Lutonsky of Elgin, Oklahoma; along with lifelong neighbor and friend, Fred and many others.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 12, 2017 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
