Eldon Dean “Qweets” Harrison Beard

“Qweets” Eldon Dean Harrison Beard “Bearpath” was born January 4, 1975 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Donnie Beard and Elizabeth (Harrison) Morlan.  He passed away April 5, 2018 in Jones, Oklahoma at the age of 43.

Qweets grew up in the Anadarko area, with Rudy and Patricia Harrison, where he met his future wife. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos often luring his wife, Deede and boys there with the promise of a steak dinner.  He loved spending time with his family, and all of the family gatherings, playing PlayStation with his sons and all of his “other boys.”  Qweets was a father figure to many young people who referred to him as their “Old Man”.  He loved telling stories. He would always repeat them over and over again. He always told his wife that she was “the most beautiful girl in the world, and that he loved her with all of his heart.” His two granddaughters were the joy of his life.

Qweets was preceded in death by his birth father, Donnie Beard; father, Rudy Harrison; mother, Patricia Harrison; and son, Chauncy Beard.  Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Deede Thompson, of the home; sons, Sabastian Thompson of Jones, Rudee Beard, of the home; (2) granddaughters, Cheyenne Beard, Iohla Beard; siblings, Donnie Beard, II, Joseph Morlan, Elizabeth Kaulaity, Nona and her husband Will Wilkerson, Melanie Morlan, Lillie Harrison, Ang Black, Starrie Beard, Zina Beard, Ida Beard; mother and father, Dean and Elizabeth Morlan, mother-in-law, Lucy Dotson; sister-in-law, Dawn Thompson along with many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A wake will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Lehman Funeral Home, funeral at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Luther Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
