Dawn Janelle Hoffman was born February 23, 1959, in Kingman, Kansas to Richard Arnold and Doris Irene (Brown) Funke.  She enjoyed out-fishing Glen, 4-wheeling, traveling, trips on the motorcycle, checking the traps, working on the tractors, tending to her property with Glen and spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Dawn was called home on February 8, 2017. She is preceded in death by her father Richard Arnold Funke; her mother, Doris Irene Funke; and Jay Rohlman. Left to cherish her treasured memory are her fiance’ Glen R. Harrison of Sparks, OK; (2) children, Tamra Laxson and her fiance’, James Robinson of Oklahoma City, Casey Oller and his wife, Jennifer of Mustang, Oklahoma; (4) grandchildren, Taylon Laxson, Chloe Robinson, “Pip-Squeak” Laithon Oller; and due in June, Raegan Oller; stepmother, Joyce Funke of Valley Center, Kansas; (4) sisters, Debbie Massey of Kingman, Kansas, Julie Orth of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Marilyn Janas of Valley Center, Kansas, Lynanne Rohlman DeGarmo of Valley Center, Kansas; (5) brothers, Dan Funke of Goddard, Kansas, Dave Funke of Lawrence, Kansas, Gary Rohlman of Derby, Kansas, Russ Rohlman of Kingman, KS, and Mark Rohlman of Valley Center, Kansas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Deer Creek Baptist Church between Stroud and Prague with interment following in the Prague Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
