David Anthony Garmon, 28, was born December 4, 1989 in Oklahoma City to Marcus and Denise (Blalack) Garmon.  He passed away January 19, 2018 in San Angelo, Texas following a traffic accident.

David grew up in Meridian and graduated from Guthrie High School with the class of 2008.  He enjoyed the rodeo with his brother both riding bulls and roping.  They also raced Motocross together and enjoyed watching and attending Supercross events nearly every Saturday night.  David worked for MasTec Utility Services as a directional boring technician and had just earned a promotion to foreman.  David’s favorite pastime was dancing around the house with his two children, Ryder and Remi.

David was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Minnie Louise Hodde; grandmother, Martha Garmon.  Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Destiney (Fisher) Garmon of the home; children, Ryder and Remi Garmon; parents, Marcus and Denise Garmon of Meridian; brother, J.D. Garmon and his wife Megan of Coyle; grandparents, Michael and Carlma Crane of Meridian, Troy and Clarissa Garmon of Paris, Texas; along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m.  David’s family will be present from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. to greet friends.  A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Rossville Cemetery in Wellston.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
