David Eugene Danker was born November 1, 1954 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Claude Lloyde and Bonnie Jean (Bailey) Danker. He passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Wellston at the age of 62.

David lived in Wellston his entire life and graduated from Wellston High School class of 1972. He enjoyed gardening, hunting coyotes, mushrooms, deer and working at the Chandler Baseball Camp beside his dad. David worked for Lincoln County District 1 as a Bridge Foreman for 12 years. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

David is preceded in death by his parents; survivors include his wife of 40 years, Debbie, of the home; children, Angela and her husband Gary Ross, Charles Danker and his wife, Michelle; (4) grandchildren, Christian Ross, Anthony Ross, Tricity Ross, Justice Danker; siblings, Loretta Stricklin, Alfred Danker and his wife, Sheila, Vody Danker and his wife Jeanette, and Mabel Miller, all of Wellston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the Wellston High School Gymnasium with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
