Cecil Clair Ford was born August 29, 1931 in Bryan, Oklahoma to Oman Cecil Ford and Velma Irene (King).  He passed away June 25, 2017 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

Cecil worked for Deep Rock-Kerr McGee from 1951 to 1963 and owned and operated Ford’s Country Store in Wellston from 1963 till 1996.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 64 years, Bonnie (Phelps) Ford; brother, J.L. Ford; sister, Carol Thomas.  Survivors include his sons, Terry Ford and his wife Trish, Gerald Ford and his wife Treina, Kevin Ford and his wife Sheila; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
