Catherine Theresa Hartshorne was born on June 10, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Hurd) Ross. She passed away on October 19, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 91.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary; husband, Robert Hartshorne, and son-in-law, Sam Bass. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Bass of Wellston; along with other family and friends.

A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 in the Saint Ann’s Nursing Home Chapel. A committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Eternal Valley Cemetery in Newhall, California. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
