Carolyn Marie Stewart was born June 30, 1963 in Kingsport, Tennessee to James Edward and Edith Irene (Hill) Darnell. She passed away April 9, 2017 in Stroud at the age of 53.

Carolyn loved listening to gospel music and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her parents, James and Edith Darnell of Virginia; daughters, Jessica and her husband Lillard Barrett of Cottonwood, AZ, Jerri Stewart of Stroud, Julia and her husband Bobby Johnston of Chandler; son, Jesse Stewart and his wife Meg of Wellston; (8) grandchildren, Ephrim, Kaylee, Emily, John, Kason, Hudson, Makenzie and Amyiah; brothers, Wayne Darnell, Dobie Darnell, Mark Darnell, Timmy Darnell along with other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church of Wellston. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
