I am so sorry of your loss and Gail's passing.  I met Gail when I was in personnel working for her father back in 1975.  She was so nice but I loved her cander because she was honest.  I'm sorry that I didn't know she had passed until this morning or I would have been at the funeral.  I just pray for all the family and may God encourage you and strengthen you during this time.  God Bless!

We try to comfort one another with words at this time, but we know that it is our Lord and Savior that brings ultimate comfort. I am thankful for the life that Gail had, and for the even better eternity she has. My prayers are with you all....I didn't see her often, but when I did, she always remembered me, and took the time to say hello.

Jimmie and family,
As I read the expressions of sympathy which are being shared with you and family there is a common thread of Gale's legacy. A wonderful person, one of a kind, will be sorely missed. I also remember how much fun and light Gale brought into any situation and you always knew where Gale stood.  She was special and I consider it an honor that I was able to work with her and develop a friendship. Friendships at work are what we remember and cherish.  May God bless you now and in the coming days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jimmie,
I don't know if you have heard this story about me and Gail.
When Gail was born, I was eight years old.   I would walk around, hold her and love her just like a baby doll.  One day I was at Jody and Pat's playing with her and I had on a pair of Pat's high heel shoes.  Their floors were wood and slick.  I walked around a corner and fell with her.  I thought she was hurt, I was scared because I thought Jody would kill me.  I don't know which one of us cried the loudest.  But all was well.
I didn't need a "Barbie" doll, because I had my own living baby doll to call my own and I loved her.  I will miss her and her sense of humor as well as many others will.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

My deepest sympathy to Gail's family at this time.  I'm so saddened to learn of Gail's passing, but as I continue to think of 'good times' with her I can't help but smile.  I first met Gail as a child going to Sunday School and Church together, then I was privileged to go to high school with her.  Sooo many fond memories.  The last time I saw her was a few years ago at our high school class reunion.  She and Jimmie met my husband for the 1st time and Chris (my husband) left saying they were a 'hoot'.

Jimmy,

I As you remember I was Gail's Supervisor for some time during my tenure at OMD.  One of the times I remember when I was first employed at OMD I worked in Military Pay and Gail was down the hall as COL Robert Armstrong's (ret) secretary.  Gail had specific days she would pass out office supplies to the workers.  My  2nd day at OMD, I was asked by my supervisor to go see Gail and pick up some office supplies, he forgot to tell me pick up time from Gail was on Tuesdays only.  Well this day just happened to be Wednesday and here I go to her office.  The first time I said I was there to pick up supplies, and the last thing I said was OK.  Gail filled in the middle of the conversation as to why and who sent me, and she would not get them for me.  As I was going out the door ( empty handed ) she called me back in and proceeded to get my supplies, as I got them, she kinda smiled as I also did.  From that point on she would let come and get supplies at any time, but no one else.  We became good friends at that time, and especially at the time I became her supervisor.  Many many good times after that.  Gail will be missed but we all have to go to our maker and again be with each other.  Gail was one of the best and she will by missed greatly.  Turner

Gail was a super friend of mine while working at OMD.  She was always one to create excitement in whatever you were doing with her wit and humor.
I am sorry for your loss but just remember that Gail is now with her dad in heaven where everyone will meet her again.

My dearest condolence to the family and friends of Miss Gail. She's been missed at USPFO for many years. She taught me a lot and those lessons have also turned me into one of the old-farts at OMD! I will never forget what she brought in from Wal-Mart every morning when she came into MILPAY or when she got pulled over by the cops....for driving too slow! LOL.  So many memories of her, Jimmie, Lester and NASCAR!!!!  May God be with all y'all, until y'all meet again. Love always, sgtdonna
